Legal Metrology, previously known as Weights & Measures in Mizoram since it's inception during 1975 is presently functioning under the administrative control of FCS& CA Department. The Director, FCS& CA acted as ex-officio Controller of Legal Metrology, and under him the Joint Controller, other Officers and staffs are doing the works of Legal Metrology exclusively.
